Ensuring Batwa children have access to education is critical. COBO offers a Child Sponsorship scheme as another way of supporting its members; enabling Batwa children to go to school and freeing up Batwa women to focus on their own skills and income prospects.

In a community where homes often struggle to provide more than one meal a day, education costs present yet another challenge in their day to day lives.
